We live in a generation where success is measured in doing MORE. More production. More drama. More people. More buzz. More creative. It can become draining to always have the pressure to outdo ourselves. Over time, the definition of excellence becomes defined as a pursuit of perfection. However, the Bible is pretty clear that excellence is a posture of the heart, rather than a pursuit of perfection. It’s tough to constantly be MORE when a posture resembles a picture of less. Join us at SALT16 as we unwrap the concept of MORE as we fight the tension from the world to be bigger, better and bolder and pursue a God who longs for more stillness, silence and sacred space in our lives. Therefore, in order to be MORE, we must become less.

City Community Church
Lead Pastor, City Community Church
Nathan leads an adventure in the heart of downtown Indianapolis known as City Community Church. Nathan joined SALT Nashville in our inaugural year and helped us understand the power of the One who called us into ministry through a powerful evening of contemplation, visual silence and reflection. As he poured himself out for our community, in light of the Love he has for The One, we were able to seek clarity on why we do what we do and where we expend our energy during the week.
Nathan and his beautiful wife Tricia have 4 children and live deeply in the city they love.
